New Paradigm, New Speed, New Results

The other day, I came across a video that had me laughing so hard I nearly spilled my coffee. Picture this: a baby turtle, just doing its turtle thing—slow, steady, inching along the floor. Then the owner plops him onto a tiny toy skateboard… and suddenly this little guy is zooming around the room, blowing past the family cat like he just discovered his inner NASCAR driver.

Now, aside from being ridiculously cute, it hit me: this is one of the best metaphors for life (and success) I’ve ever seen. Because let’s be honest—most of us are living like that turtle before the skateboard showed up. We crawl along the same way we always have, telling ourselves, “Well, this is just how it’s done.” But the second you get introduced to a new tool, a new idea, a new way of thinking? Game. Changer.

The Truth About Crawling

Most of us live like turtles crawling across the floor—slow, steady, predictable. And hey, predictable feels safe. But predictable can also feel like being stuck.

Crawling speed was never meant to carry a woman like you into her next level of success.

Because then… someone hands you a skateboard. 🚀

That little turtle didn’t change his legs. He didn’t grow wings. He didn’t go out and become a cheetah. He changed his vehicle. And boom—he’s outrunning the CAT.

That’s what happens when you think differently, when you try something that feels new—or even a little crazy. And when you have someone in your corner (yes, like a coach) handing you tools you didn’t even know existed.

Where High-Powered Women Get Stuck

Let’s get real. In real estate—and in life—we get so used to doing things our way that we stop questioning if there might be a better way.

  • You’ve always worked 70-hour weeks. So you keep doing it, thinking burnout is just the price of success.
  • You only prospect one way (door knocking, cold calls, open houses). Because that’s what you were taught 10 years ago.
  • You manage every detail yourself. Because no one can “do it as well as you.”

But what if the reason you feel exhausted, capped, or stuck isn’t you… it’s your mode of transportation?

Try This Instead

Here’s where the skateboard moment comes in. Sometimes it’s not about reinventing you—it’s about upgrading the vehicle you’re riding.

  • Stuck in the hustle trap?
Try: blocking white space on your calendar—sacred, non-negotiable time for strategy, dreaming, or simply breathing.
(Crazy thought: deals will still close even if you take an hour to reset.)
  • Relying on outdated methods?
Try: embracing new lead-gen vehicles—like video reels, LinkedIn connections, or partnerships that align with your personality.
(You don’t have to cold call your way into the grave.)
  • Doing it all yourself?
Try: delegating the 20% of tasks that drain your energy. Pay someone to handle the paperwork while you focus on relationships—the thing that actually makes you money.

Each of these is a skateboard moment. They might feel weird at first. They might feel like cheating. But what if “cheating” is really just choosing a smarter vehicle?

The Power of a Mentor

Here’s the kicker: turtles don’t usually stumble onto skateboards by themselves.

Sometimes you need someone outside your current box to hand you the tool that changes everything. A mentor. A coach. Someone who says, “Hey, what if you tried it this way instead?”

And suddenly, instead of inching along, you’re flying past the limits you thought were permanent.

Your dream deserves more than crawling speed.

So the question is: are you going to keep inching along in the same patterns… or are you ready to strap on some wheels and see what you’re really capable of?

Click here if you’re ready to swap inch-by-inch progress for breakthrough momentum.

Because honestly? The cat is waiting. And I’d love nothing more than to watch you zoom right past it. 🚀
